bir film kiralayıcısının, bir oyunbaz sevgiliyle birlikte hayatının sürprizlenmesini anlatan gayet de eğlenceli bir film. tabi cillian murphy'nin hakkını yememek lazım filmin asıl yıldızı olarak.

ayrıca filmdeki ilk öpüşme sahnesi ile son öpüşme sahnesi "en güzel öpüşmeler top 10" listeme üst sıralardan giriş yaptılar.

my flame burns bluedaki hali kesinlikle orjinal halinden daha kötü olmuş elvis costello şarkısı. raggae hali olan daha enerjik ve sevimlidir. dinleyecekseniz onu dinleyin, tantana yapmayın fazla. ritim duygunuz gelişsin biraz.

elvis costello'nun reggae ritmleriyle bezeli, film gibi sozleriyle insani harekete geciren 1977 cikisli parcasi. niceleri okudu sonralari bu kivrak besteyi (bkz: duran duran) ama illaki asli derim.

fuzuli bir film. icinde gecen olumlu fikirler olmasina ragmen bir filmi olusturmaya yetecek miktarda malzeme yok. bos kaliyor. baska bir seyle ilgilenirken seyredilebilecek bir film.

elvis costello'nun son albumu my flame burns blue'da reggae'sini kaybetmis, cazini bulmus haliyle yerini almis hayal gibi sarki. iyi mi olmus kotu mu olmus bilemedim ben, orijinali daha iyiydi sanki.
