duran duran'ın en iyi albümüdür.

duran duranın 90'lara geçerken yaptığı evde dinleme albümüdür. ancak tam da 80lerden 90lara geçişteki piyasa şartlarından kötü yönde etkilenmiştir. kendi gidişatındaki notorious faciasından sonra bir özür ve toparlanma albümü olmasıyla the wedding albumun de habercisidir. ama onuncu yıl anısına çıkardıkları decade ve hemen ardından gelen libertynin gölgesinde kalıp araya sıkışmıştır. all she wants isi de her buldukları deliğe sokuşturmalarından biraz piyasada bilinmiştir. ama en başında da belirttiğim gibi bu sağda solda mephisto türü tükanlarda çalınsın diye yapılmamış, evde hafif bir içki eşliğinde dinlensin diye yapılmış bir albüm. bugün bir palomino olsun, bir land olsun, kime ne tad verebilir ki kafası birbirine benzeyen binlerce şarkıyla dolu insanlar varken etrafta... öyle hep bir ağızdan söylenecek şarkılar da değil "in the end it doesn't even matter" falan diye..

ayrıca albüme adını veren şarkı da pek keyiflidir. adamikte müşteri kaçırmak için çaldırılır. "veyk ap veyk ap" diyen gençler gider serenade isteyenler kalır...
