Darkness Rising (~ Mother of Darkness - Das Haus der dunklen Hexe) ' Filminin Konusu : Kahramanımız Madison uzun yıllar boyunca çocukluğunda yaşadığı travmatik bir olayın hatıraları yüzünden bunalımlı bir hayat sürmektedir. Annesi, Madison daha küçücükken ablasını öldürmüştür ve Madison da annesinin elinden son anda kurtulmayı başarmıştır. Bu olayın yaşadığı evin yıkılacağı kesinleşince Madison nişanlısı ve kuzeniyle uzun yıllar sonra suç mahalline döner. Madison'ın amacı evin yıkımını izleyip bu travmayı ardında bırakmaktır ancak hiç ummadığı bir bela başına musallat olur!
