Andrew kendisini bakmakla görevli olduğu hayvanlarla birlikteyken çok daha rahat hisseden bir hayvanat bahçesi görevlisidir.İnsanlarla iletişimde çok büyük sıkıntılar yaşayan Andrew, bir gün bu duruma bir son vermek ister ve hayvanat bahçesini terk eder ve sonrasında bir kızla tanışır.Bu haberi alan hayvanlar bir sırrı açığa kavuşturmak isterler, aslında herbiri konuşabilmektedir ve tek amaçları, Andrew'in kendisi için en iyi kızı bulmak için çıktığı yolda ona yardım etmektedir.
