oyuncuların amatör oldukları aşikar olan filmdir. bu filmin içeriğini gölgede bırakmamaktır. filmde asıl problem bence, filmin yapıldığı tarihte normal sayılabilecek bir kusur, verilmek istenen mesajın göze sokulması. bu problem filmin etkisini azaltıyor. ancak mccartyciliğin had safhada olduğu amerika' da böyle bir filmin yapılması bile gövde gösterisidir diyebilirim. amerika' daki işçi mücadelesinin çıkmazı sendikalizm de filmde sırıtmaktadır. yönetmenimizin cesaretine, inancına tam puan, filme ise geçer not diyorum

1954 yapimi herbert biberman filmi. new mexicodaki bir cinko madenindeki sendikalasmayi akabinde 15 ay suren grevi konu alan film bi cok tartismaya yolacmis. yonetmen ve oyuncular red baitingden nasibini almis ve film distributorlerden de boykotunu alinca 1970lerin ortalarina kadar amerikada gosterime girememistir.

wim wenders 2014'te cektigi, salgado'nun o her daim insani arayan, insanin icine bakan tarafinin zamanla nasil eridigine, gozlerini bizden nasil kacirdigina, onun yerine insan eli degmemis her yere ve her seye yoneldigine sahit oldugunuz belgesel.

muthis bir adamin, fotografi hayat arayisi olarak goren bir gezginin, dunyayi ucundan da olsa degisirebilecek bir ciftin, ve de insanin ozundeki vahsetle yogrulmus karmasikligin etkileyici/sarsici/dusundurucu hikayesi.
