The Girl ' Filminin Konusu : Ünlü yönetmen Alfred Hitchcock, sıradaki projesi için hayatını modellik yaparak kazanan ve aktris olarak ilk adımlarını bu filmle atacak olan Tippi Hedren’ı bulur. Yönetmen, filmin çekimleri sırasında, hem filmin yapım sürecinin işleyişini hem de kendi kariyer ve ününü tehlikeye atarak genç kadına karşı bir saplantı oluşturmaya başlar. Bu saplantı zamanla tedirgin edici boyutlara ulaşır. ‘The Girl’, konusunu ‘The Birds’ filminin çekimleri sırasında Alfred Hitchcock ve Tippi Hedren arasında yaşanan ilişkiden alıyor.
