my dear friends,
great.. at last it looks as though things in my hectic life are
getting back on the track again.

the theft of euro 10.000 by my ex lover john in spain,
who forged my handwriting on blanco cheques he found in the house,
has partially been solved. the bank he had one of the cheques
deposited in has returned the money, euro 2.800 to my account.
the rest i hope my lawyer will take care of in a weeks time,
when i have to appear in court in marbella and either put the
culprit in jail or at least make sure he has to leave my house
... even if it may be in due course. after all spain is not for
nothing called "manana" land.

another euro 7.500 (from the above 10.000)is still gone missing
as that was cashed in at the tellers.

penthouse, at first apparently bankrupt for a few months, has now
started
appearing on the stands again and what's more.. they started to pay me
again for the work i have been doing for them for the last 35 years in
my column "call me madam".

the happy hooker is bringing in some decent royalties from the usa
sales so all in all i cannot complain as bitterly as i did a month or
so ago. things do tend to pick up in my life.

my health is doing fine, i swim and trim twice a week.. just have
to do something about the weight still.

my theater pre sales already got enough bookings for the lola blau
production to cover all expenses. since i am not subsidized that is

my insurance paid me more than what i had spent on tickets earlier
this year after i got the heart attack.. so my trip to mexico next
year has been paid for by them. i will probably go to zihuatenejo
again with my butler james in february and my man clyde will join
us for his 10 day break from school.

clyde can hardly wait to come back to this bohemian lifestyle he has
come to love so dearly and if all works out he shall be landing
here mid december for 3 weeks x mas vacation. if - - - he does not
surprise me with a short visit even sooner, but that all depends on
the fact of him finding a bargain ticket on line.

my documentary :"xaviera, still happy" is finished and we
are trying to
sell it. robert dunlap, the producer and i will hopefully present it
at various film festivals.

all in all it even looks as though i will get my visa for the usa
within the next month.
