when i started college, my sole aim was to be a bride with a ba., which is an easy way to find a rich husband in turkey. during my freshman and sophomore years i have been looking all over to locate a rich husband. i was still hopeful, as i recall, at the end of the first year. it was after the fall semester of the second year that desperation set in. that is when i have decided to augment my gpa and to be an eligible applicant for harvard (the ivy league in general). after all, i have really enjoyed philosophy, it's an interesting mental exercise. now i am looking forward to come to boston and find a rich husband who has a traditional newengland upbringing. :)

the main question i shall address in this essay is why it is so important for me to be admitted into purdue. well, i have spend my undergrad years in a very vibrant atmosphere in istanbul...the night shift, as we used to call it, requires diligence and patience. i am proud to admit that i have been all over club culture magazines, web sites, discussion groups just to add to the prestige of my university which was under-represented in istanbul club scene... i have been the president of the istanbul branch of the international organization "free dope" and i have organized many tours to amsterdam via my own company, which is a clear indicator of my capacity as an entrepreneur. i am the ideal mba student for you!

i began by taking a psychology class each semester. during my second year at clu, i was given the opportunity to volunteer at camarillo state hospital on the adolescent girls' ward in the mountain valley school. working with these children, who were diagnosed with either worried or emotional disorders, was eye opening. i had never been inside a mental hospital before. it was like a fantasy camp, everywhere i turned i saw mad little adoloscenes, lo-li-tas as nabakov would call them. i almost became institutionalized myself as my infatuation with the little girls was driving me crazy. although i was satiated there, it was too overwhelming for me so i decided that working inside an institution would not be a future goal of mine.

i want to be a pediatric (baby) marine biologist because i like the ocean, small things, and animals. :-)

every summer my family and i go to our summer house for july and august and it is near the ocean. this is in woods hole, massachusetts, where there is even a marine biologist museum, and the people inside the museum have cool clothes and they always have shoes that you can't get anywhere else. i call them marine biologist shoes. :-)

by the way, i was looking in your course catalog for the marine biologist courses and those courses seem to involve working with fish or things like fish. :-(

i'm not really all that interested in fish, i mean i'll take the required fish courses, but what i am really interested in is animals that live in or near the water, except fish. :-(

i like seals, especially baby seals, :-) and whales :-) (free willy was so cool, except or part ii), and even wet kittens and other small things, like baby dolphins :-)(are they fish? :-\). that's why i want to specialize in being a pediatric marine biologist, because animals are cuter when they are little, and probably easier to study. :-)
