29 haziranda xxx albümünü çıkaracak en iyi aor gruplarından. eski kadrosuyla yani carl palmer, steve howe, john wetton ve geoff downes'un bu albümde de 2008'deki gerçek reunion'daki çizgisinin devam ettiğini düşünüyorum. asia'nın müziğinin formula'sı oldukça belliydi. 1982-1985 döneminde bunu uyguladılar, tabi 1983'ten sonra bu formül tutmadı. 2008'dekinde de yine 1982'deki debut havasına geri döndüler, bu açıdan başarılı bir albüm oldu sonuçta.

carl palmer (elp), steve howe (yes), john wetton (king crimson) gibi yetmislerin selebriti rockerlarinin vucuda getirdigi, has aor gruplarindan.. ama prog rock'dan daha cok, pop rock'a yakin dururlardi.. butun o 'a' basharfli albumlerin hic biri ''self titled' ilk albumleri gibi olmadi hatirladigim.. doksanlarda yaptiklarinin zaten pek kaale alinir yani yok..

album kapaklari da genelde roger dean imzaliydi..
