muhteşem "station to station"daki muhteşem şarkının ismi olması dışında , sanatçının 1983 yılında rca records tarafından yayınlanan toplama albümünün de adıdır. biraz bowie'nin o dönemde yeni kazandığı pop süperstarı payesinin ekmeğini yeme çabası gibi gelir bana. her ne kadar eski dönem şarkılarını "golden years" hesabı toplamış olsa da...

berlin üçlemesi'ne laf edenin taş olacağına inancım tam. bu toplamadaki "lodger" aşkına o yüzden fazla dokunmayacağım. üçlemenin diğer iki albümünün hazinelerine de yer ayrılabilirmiş tabii ("heroes"tan seçe seçe manasız "joe the lion"u seçmeleri trajik). neyse. scary monsters da geniş bir yere sahip bu toplamada ama olay "wild is the wind" ve "goldern years"ta bitiyor bana sorarsanız. onlar varsa sorun yok, onlar varsa dünya için hala umut var. bowie zaten hayatın ender renklerinden.

şu vakitte the simpsonsın 23. sezonunda karşıma çıkarmasıyla gecemi david bowie gecesine çevirmeme neden olan şarkı. sonra trainspotting'in dünya üstü soundtrackiyle kapanışı yaparım. angealllllll!
