george gershwin tarafından bestelenen ve sözleri ira gershwin tarafından yazılmış 1937 tarihli klasikleşmiş şarkı. shall we dance filmi için yazılmış ve bu filmde ginger rogers tarafından fred astaire'in ünlü dans hareketleri eşliğinde seslendirilmiştir. ayrıca aynı şarkıdan yola çıkarak çevrilmiş 1981 tarihli bir film de vardır. sözleri şöyledir;

bir george gershwin bestesi. araninca bulunan ilk kaydi 1924 tarihinde armstrong^* tarafindan i got rhythm albumunde seslendirilmistir. sonra anlasilan bu parcayi soylemeyeni dovuyorlarmis ki, sinatra, fitzgerald, vaughan, astaire, bennett, crosby, torme ve daha onlarca yorumcu tarafindan seslendirilmistir.

peter bogdanovich'in 1981 tarihli bir romantik komedimsisi. böyle orta karar ve özellikle finali çok çok kötü olan bir senaryo bogdanovich'in gerçek sokakları stüdyoya, sokaktan geçen insanları figürana çeviren masalsı bir dünya yaratma becerisi sayesinde ilginçleşiyor, audrey hepburn'ün son filmi olan bu film hiç yoktan iyi oluyor. kariyerinin başlangıcında üstüste üç bucuk başyapıt çekmiş harüka çocuh bogdanovich'in hiç yoktan iyi bir yönetmene dönüşmesine yol açan iki mühim olaydan birisi de bu film tamamlandıktan sonra gerçekleştiğinden, kendisinin son kayda değer filmi diyebilir gibiyiz. ilk olay o ilk üç buçuk filmde beraber çalıştığı, production designerlığını yapan ve bogdanovich'in pek iyi olmadığı hikaye seçimi ve sanat tasarımı meselelerini takır takır halleden eşi polly platt'den ayrılması diyebiliriz, easy riders raging bull'a göre.

ikinci olay ise bu filmde gördüğümüz sarışın playboy güzeli ve bogdanovich'in yeni sevgilisi dorothy stratten'ın filmin kurgusu daha yeni tamamlanmışken eski sevgililerinden biri tarafından öldürülmesidir. özel hayatındaki bu trajedilerin üstüne bir de bir türlü iş hayatında başarıya kavuşamamak bogdanovich'i gitgide daha beter bir yönetmene çevirmiştir. misal bir roman polanski'nin aksine.
