    1980 yılı mahsulü barbara peeters tarafından yönetilmiş olan abd yapımı bir film. monster olarak da bilinir.

    peeters, yetmişli yıllarda popüler olan düşük bütçeli istismar filmleri furyasının nadir kadın yönetmenlerinden biri. humanoids from the deep ise yönetmenin filmografisinde zirve yapmış en başarılı işidir.

    hiç aksamayan temposu ile eğlence katsayısı yüksek bir film. filmin seksist söylemi bir kısım izleyeni rahatsız edebilir, ama en nihayetinde bu bir istismar filmi. eğer hala izlemediyseniz, video kaset döneminde türkiye’de de bir hayli popüler olan bu filmi rahatlıkla tavsiye edebilirim.
