robert de niro ile meryl streep'in rol aldıkları, yasak aşk konulu, 1984 yapımı güzel film.
başkalarıyla evli kahramanlarımız ilk olarak trende sonra da bir kitapçıda karşılaşırlar. kitapçıdan eşleri için aldıkları hediyeler, paketlerinin benzerliğinden dolayı karışır. eve gidip hediyeleri eşlerine verdiklerinde her iki evde de şaşkınlık hakim olacaktır. birkaç ay sonra trende yeniden karşılaşan bu iki insan tanışır ve yakıcı, kavurucu bir yasak aşka yelken açar.
zuhal olcay ve halil ergün'ün rol aldığı 1987 yapımı bir günah gibi bu filmin yerli uyarlamasıdır.

ingilizcede aşık olmak anlamına gelen bu kavram, pazarlık (bkz: negotiation) konularında bir metafor şeklinde kullanılırken, yapılabilecek en büyük hatalardan biri olarak söylenir. örnek verecek olursak:

kayınvalidenize ev almaya gidiyorsunuz. siz, eşiniz, kayınvalide, emlakçı amca evleri dolaşıyorsunuz beraber. girdiğiniz evlerden birinde, valide "ayyy tahsin! bu ev harika... hiii süheylaa, mutafağa bak kızımmm... ahir ömrümde böyle bir evde oturabilsem başka bir şey istemem..." demeye başlarsa kendisi "falling in love" hatasına düşmüş olur ve sizi son derece zor durumda bırakır. zira tahmin edeceğiniz gibi emlakçıyla fiyat kırmak için pazarlığa girme hayalleri yapan siz sevgili damat, emlakçının o pis sırıtışından başka bir ikram göremezsiniz. çünkü adam annenizin eve "aşık" olduğunu biliyordur, bilgi güçtür ve güç ondadır.

filmimiz iste bu tip zorluklarla neredeyse mecburen yuruyen iki sozde problemsiz, ozde problemli evliliklerin bas aktorlerinin birbirlerine asik olmasini anlatiyor. ne yazik ki evlilik kurumunda boyle bir tehlike daha buyuk miktarlarda mevcuttur. cunku evlilik kurumuna bagli kisiler ihtiyac duyduklari konularin kimisinde tatmin olabilirken digerlerinde acikta kalabilirler. evlilik kurumu kisinin tatminini baska yerlerde aramasini pek de kaldiracak bir kurum degildir. ornegin kisiler entellektuel olduklarindan kavga etmezler ama birbirlerine karsi duygusal olarak kayitsiz kalabilirler. taraflardan birinin duygusal acligi onlemez bir noktaya gelirse yolda gordugu kendisine azicik ilgi gosteren bir cahile kendisini kaptirabilir. cunku kisinin entellektuel beklentileri doymus, diger tarafi acikta kalmistir. entellektuel duzeyi olmayan bu cahil artik bu kisi icin bicilmis kaftandir. iste bu durumdan dolayi hayat cesitli surprizlere gebe olabilir. gebe demisken desperate housewives'daki esinin yogunlugundan dolayi bir turlu bir araya gelmeyen, geldiginde de bir sey anlamayan, havuz temizleyicisini cekici bulan hanimlara da isaret etmek isterim.
