istanbul üniversitesi ingilizce öğretmenliğinden mezun olan bir arkadaşım ingilizcede aslında böyle bir kalıbın olmadığını iddaa etmişti de diyecek laf bulamamıştım. allahtan, sonrasında mesleği bırakıp thy de hostes oldu da gelecek nesiller adına umudum yeniden tazelendi.

ingilizce'de aşırı genellemeyle çok fazla kullanılan preposition . -e/a göre anlamı verir ancak her yerde kullanılmaması gerekir. zira, ana dili ingilizce olanlar bunu pek tercih etmezler. bir örnekle sabitlersek:according to piaget, children should not be taught certain concepts until they reached the appropriate stage of cognitive development.burada according to yerine alternatifler:for piaget,... piaget's view was that...piaget took the view that...in piaget's view...piaget was of the opinion that...piaget believed that...önemli not: en sık yapılan yanlış according to me şeklinde yapılan yanlıştır. according to me yerine, in my opinion, i believe/think that, for me veya yukarıdaki kalıpları kullanmanız gerekmektedir.
