Prezident Blaník ' Filminin Konusu : Amerikan yakın tarihinin en çok iz bırakmış olaylarından Rodney King'in öldürülmesinin sonrasında 1992'de Los Angeles'ta gergin hava devam etmektedir. Evlat edindiği çocuklarını büyütmeye ve hayata tutunmaya çalışan Millie Dunbar (Halle Berry) için de durum bu şekildedir. Ancak King'in ölümünden sorumlu tutulan polis memurlarının dava sonucunda ceza almaması, Los Angeles sokaklarını yangın yerine çevirir.
