yitip giden gizde saklı bir yüreğin hikayesidir.bir gün bir yerde savaş başladı meçhul asker için bitene kadar da yaşlanıcak herkes haberlerin okunduğu yerde kahvatı yaparken meçhul asker televiyon çoçukları doğmamış yaşayan ölü gibi ekrana bakarken bir çın sesiyle inler haberler, miğfere çarpan bir mermiyle.. ve hepsi biti, meçhul asker için geriye omuzda meçhul bir askerin bıraktığı çukur kalır.

1985' e kadar klibinin yasaklı olduğu şarkının klipte grup önce meçhul askerin mezarına bir ziyarette bulunur. sonra da grubun üç üyesi, bir sahilde jim morrison’u bir direğe bağlayıp etrafını çiçeklerle donatıyor ve kurşuna dizdikten sonra oradan uzaklaşırlar. grup daha sonra konserlerinde de bu sahneyi canlandırdı. trampet eşliğinde, jim sahnenin ortasında duruyor ve robby ona gitarıyla ateş edip öldürdükten sonra jim şarkının bir bölümünü yerde yatarken söylüyordu. şarkının sonları ise tam bir savaş bitimi kutlaması biçiminde. öyle ki insanın tüylerini dikendiken eden bir hisse kapılıyor insan.
