ekim ayında çıkması planlanan exodus albümü. yanılmıyorsam grubun 10. stüdyo albümü olacak. bir şarkıda solo gitarlar grubun eski üyesi kirk hammett tarafından çalınmış.

başka nasıl tarif edilir bilemedim; evvelki birkaç albüme göre daha az karanlık, daha enerjetik bir albüm olmuş. sanki exodus değil de death angel kaydetmiş albümü. dinletmesine dinletiyor ama son dört albüme göre epey sönük bana kalırsa.

bütün şarkıları tek bir şarkı olarak birleştirilse sırıtmayacak albümdür. bütün şarkılar sanki hep aynı riff'den yazılmış gibi duruyor ki bu da slayer'da çalmanın gary holt'a etkisini çok güzel gösteriyor.bazı şarkılar çok başarılı ama bazı şarkılar da tamamen çöp, albümü tamamlasın diye yazılmış adeta. gary holt'un sololarının kery king solosuna dönmesine zaten diyecek laf yok. kısacası pek olmamış albümdür. ama exodus'u bu albüm vesilesiyle türkiye'de izlersek tadından yenmez, o ayrı.

zetro nun sesini özlemişim gerçi ddp filan arada çıkmıştı ama exodus zetro ile exodus oluyor. kanımca 2014 ün en iyi albümü isim şarkısı ise ayrı bir olay araç kullanırken tavsiye edilmez.

izleyelim bakalım. günümüzde isimleri gayet duyulmuş oyuncuların isimleri baya bi alt rollerde. bunların arasında billy bob thonton bile var.

metal müzik dünyasında en iyi geri dönüşlerden birini yapan exodus'un geri dönüşünü yaptığı 2004 tarihli tempo of the damned ile başlayan ikinci döneminde yaptığı 5 albüm içinde en kötüsü. exodus 2004ten bu yana uzun süreli şarkılar yapıyor ama insanı hiç sıkmayan güzel riffler ve melodiler ile bezeli işler çıkartıyorlar. hatta bu yüzden gruba 'thrash metalin ıron maiden'ı oldular' diyenler bile var. ama blood in blood out albümü ne yazık ki ilgi çekecek, enteresan bir şey içermeyen, sıkıcı ve kendini tekrar eden şarkılar ile dolu. gary holt gibi bir ustanın olduğu bir albüme bu yorumu yapacağımı hiç düşünmezdim ama durum bu...
