lise sonda bu şarkı yüzünden az kalsın hayatımdan oluyordum. hemen hikayeyi özet geçeyim. kız arkadaşımın evine gitmiştim, tam evden çıkıcam son öpücükler ayrılamamalar falan derken asansörün sesi geldi, mercekten bir baktık kızın bizden bir yaş küçük erkek kardeşi geliyor. acilen banyoya saklanmalar falan derken telefonum çaldı, evet o telaşla telefonun sesini kısmayı unutmuşum ve melodim wellcome to my life sonrasında göt korkusunun verdiği hızla banyodan fırlayıp dış kapıdan fırtına gibi kaçmıştım. kız arkadaşım da kardeşiyle aradaki başka kozları kullanarak hesaplaşmıştı sonra. ama az kalsın bu şarkı yüzünden meslek lisesinde okuyan psikopat kardeşle burun buruna geliyordum.

aynı zamanda citroen reklamında kullanılan,still not getting any albümünden,kanımca en iyi simple plan sarkısı..

citroen reklamında sadece " welcome to my life" kısmıyla ilgi yakalanmaya çalışılmış, hoşgeldin hayatıma ve aynı zamanda reklamında sonunda kullanılan slogan "citroen gelir hayatınız değişir" ile ilişkilendirilen güzel şarkı.
